Review: Baan Chom Tawan, Thailand

Baan Chom Tawan was an excellent and comfortable stay. The villa was large and beautiful, and the staff were friendly and incredible helpers—from everything from cleaning to meals to stories.

In fact, this villa was a spectacular "save the day" after our original booking fell through. Meaw and her crew made it literally one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Their hospitality turned a stressful situation into a perfect vacation.

The staff made up our rooms every morning, lit the candles which gave the villa a charming lemon aroma, made delicious meals, and, at the end of the day, provided a ‘turn-down service’ by preparing our beds and leaving fresh flowers on them.

A few curious cats who lived around the villa came to visit us—including Brown Sugar and Kon Me.

The house had a pool and direct access to the beach—perfect for swimming and watching the sunset.

Overall, this villa was a total five-star destination that allowed you to live in the luxury of a hotel but the privacy of a house.
